In our last post we covered the Chapter 7 bankruptcy timeline, and what you could expect. However, each bankruptcy case is different. In your case a Chapter 13 bankruptcy may be the best for you. Chapter 13 bankruptcy is ideal for those that want to retain assets, and make enough income to pay off their debts. In a Chapter 13 you will work with the bankruptcy court to create a payment plan that is best suited for your income and debt to get your creditors paid off in a way that makes sense.
This type of bankruptcy is quite a bit different from a Chapter 7 and at C. Golden and Fleming we want to make sure that each one of our clients know what to expect from their bankruptcy case. Our attorneys are dedicated to helping you get on the right track to financial freedom. So, whether or not you’ve called us for a consultation, or are thinking about speaking with one of our attorneys – we hope this Chapter 13 timeline infographic helps you understand what to expect when you’re considering filing bankruptcy in Georgia.
